Computer Center
Computer centre is fully equipped with the advanced computer systems and software's. These facilities have made a great impact on the students as well as on the staff of this institute. As they have to cope up with the vast development and advancement in the field of computers, educational software's which have been made available in this institute are useful for the students to complete their educational curriculum in the respective subjects. Also certain software's are very useful as a teaching media, which certainly have created a more user friendly environment while teaching learning process. Computer center has also found useful to create computer awareness in the people from rural area and to provide them short term trainings for self-employment. At present the computer center of this institute have local area network comprising of total 56 Pentiums with internet facility.

Computer center is now fully equipped with advanced software's, such as MS-Office, AutoCAD, FoxPro, Lotus, UNIX, JAVA, C,C++,VB6.0,ASP,Windows XP,Novell Netware and computer based training software's. Considering the necessity of simulation techniques in every fields such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics. The necessary software's have been procured. This has found more useful for analyzing the results prior to actual assembling, building, fabricating the models. Also this will be much more useful for the students as well as staff to cope up with advancement in the respective fields. All the departments has been connected to the LAN facility of Internet access, E-mail access and sharing of the files are the important features of the networking. Provision is also made to establish separate computer labs for respective branches to cope up with the advancement in the respective fields. |
