Though Washim being a small and remote town , I.I.I. cell in the institute is working hard to arrange campus interviews, and to depute students for In-plant training so to gain in technical knowledge and personality development and to get employment opportunities.
Under this cell, every year in summer and winter vacations, 8 to 10 students are absorbed by the various industries for INPLANT trainings. Students of second and third year are benefited and become technically sound. During the World Bank Assisted Project period about 60 students were deputed and trained through INPLANT trainings.

INTERNAL REVENUE GENERATION (IRG)

Under IRG the institute undertake the activities of material testing, calibration of equipments, inspection of products, consultancy etc. About Rs. 12 lack are being generated through IRG. During World Bank Assisted Project various modernized equipments are received in this institute. Due to this various testing and calibrations become possible which results in increasing the revenue generation. Now the figure is about 10 times so that of the IRG before the start of project. Institute is trying to generate more revenue, by providing services to industry (using strong potential available in the institute)
