About the Institute

In 1999, Akola District has been divided into two separate district for administrative reason and separate Washim District has been formed. The institute is located on Risod Road Washim on a plot of 20 ht. of land. This institute has administrative building, workshop building, staff quarters and boys hostel with capacity of 176 students inside the premises in addition of ample playground and healthy atmosphere. As per the policy of state Govt. seats are reserved for girls students and the no. of girls students are increasing day by day. The administrative approval for the construction of girls hostel is given by the govt. and the construction of girls hostel is likely to be started in near future. Institute has qualified staff. Every dept. has equipped labs. In addition to this institute has good enriched lib. which includes text books, reference books, technical magazines and newspapers. More infrastructural development is likely to be done at this institute in the coming future.
